Our Mission

The Developmental Disabilities Alliance of Western New York (DDAWNY) is a collaborative group of member voluntary agencies that provide services to people with developmental disabilities. While honoring individual agency missions, it is the intent of the Alliance to assist agencies to develop relationships, promote unified strategies and share risks for the mutual gain with and for the benefit of people with developmental disabilities.

Residential

This committee is a forum where providers of residential services share information about program practices, agency policy, governing regulations, and OMRDD business with the aim of developing effective delivery systems to meet consumer needs. Committee delegations will work to address specific issues relevant to residential service, such as a development of guidelines for obtaining community acceptance of proposed program sites.
