Our Mission

The Developmental Disabilities Alliance of Western New York (DDAWNY) is a collaborative group of member voluntary agencies that provide services to people with developmental disabilities. While honoring individual agency missions, it is the intent of the Alliance to assist agencies to develop relationships, promote unified strategies and share risks for the mutual gain with and for the benefit of people with developmental disabilities.

Wake Up Call for Families

The Family Committee Of the Developmental Disability Alliance of WNY Hosts

its Sixth Meeting on The Urgent Wake Up Call for Families

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 6 pm

7 Community Drive, Cheektowaga, NY

(Harlem exit off Route 33, Harlem, to Maryvale, to Community Drive)

WHY? If you have a loved one who has developmental disability and may need an out of home living situation now or in the near future, you need to join this interested group of family members.

We are demanding changes in Albany for our loved ones. We are gathering support for a strong local voice for all families of individuals with disabilities. You will want to be apart of our advocacy, because we have greater strength in numbers. We need you to make a difference.
