Our Mission

The Developmental Disabilities Alliance of Western New York (DDAWNY) is a collaborative group of member voluntary agencies that provide services to people with developmental disabilities.  While honoring individual agency missions, it is the intent of the Alliance to assist agencies to develop relationships, promote unified strategies and share risks for the mutual gain with and for the benefit of people with developmental disabilities.

Adult Day PDF

This committee shares information and expertise, provides mutual assistance, and ensures the highest quality of services are available for adults in day programs.  They also work to provide united input on regulations, policies and funding issues which impact on adult day services. 



Next Scheduled Meeting:  Now September 8th, (Originally scheduled on the 15th), 10:00am at the Southgate Plaza. 

DDAWNY is participating in a workgroup, New York Makes Work Pay Medicaid Infrastructure Grant (MIG) 21st Century.

The agenda will include a focused review and discussion on draft recommendations for developing options for Outcome Based Supported Employment and enhancing Supported Employment Outcomes. 

 We have been asked to make recommendations by the MIG and VESID.
